Are you dreaming of heading off to New Zealand with 8 of your friends for the ultimate whirlwind tour? That is exactly what we recently planned for a client to celebrate the Trans-Tasman bubble opening.
We recently had the opportunity to come up with an incredible tour for 8 women wanting to experience New Zealand in a whirlwind ‘girls trip’ tour. What they wanted? A private driver and to see as much as they could in 18 days. Here is what we came up with.
- A professional private ‘guide’ to drive them for the entire trip.
- Starting off with two nights in Auckland, with a day trip to Waiheke Island where they will go ziplining, wine tasting and have a delicious lunch.
- Next they will travel to Rotorua where they stay two nights, experiencing the Waitomo Caves Tour, Canopy Tour, Redwoods Treewalk, Waimangu Valley Walk, Polynesian Pools and the local sights
- Traveling in their private vehicle next to Napier to stay 1 night where they will go on a Tour Art Deco Vintage Car Tour
- Next they are off to Wellington, recently named “the coolest little capital in the world” by Lonely Planet, for two nights to see the city and a free day
- After a relaxing time in Wellington, the ladies are catching the ferry across to Nelson for two nights, to experience the Awaroa Diner & either have a rest day or head to the Abel Tasman National Park.
- After exploring the park, stopping over in Punakaiki for one night to break the journey.
- The next day the ladies are off to explore the 2,600 metre high glacier in the Southern Alps, the Fox Glacier; staying overnight in a nearby hotel.
- The next adventure is the Hokitoka Treetop Walk, an exhilarating treetop adventure among temperate rainforest giants.
- The day after they are off to famous Queenstown for three nights, where they will explore the city and go on an incredible Milford Sound tour with a picnic lunch.
- Next they will go to Mt Cook, the tallest mountain in New Zealand for one night.
- Lastly they will transfer to Christchurch to experience a Vintage Tram Dinner and a day trip to Akaroa, the most French town in New Zealand.
- Head to Christchurch International airport to come home
We love putting bespoke itineraries together, especially once-in-a-lifetime bucketlist trips like this one.
