Tour Description

Beautiful nature, night sky full of stars and during the day nice stable weather ... Set out with us to Mexico - into the Gardens of Eden in the mountains, where you can see clear blue water, waterfalls, small cascade pools, banana grove the possibility to try thermal spring in the rock or go for a trip into nature with a positively tuned local Indian, who will show you how to treat the nature in a right way. Absolutely unique place where there is no chance to meet a tourist, only Mexicans. You can meet raccoons, skunks and badgers and admire the subtropical fauna.

Itinerary

Day 1/2 Let Arrival to Mexico City

Your adventure starts at the airport in Mexico City. Here we will pick you up and drive you to your hotel. You will have plenty of time to have a walk in the city or relax in the hotel after your long journey if your flight lands in the morning hours.

Day 2 – San Juan Teotihuacan (b)

After breakfast drive to San Juan Teotihuacan for a visit to this imposing archaeological site. Our visit includes the Road of the Dead, the Citadel, the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, as well as the famous pyramids of the Sun and Moon. On the way back to the city, we will stop at the Shrine of Guadalupe, considered as their holy patroness by large segments of the population in Mexico and Central America. Return to hotel with rest of afternoon free.

Day 3 Mexico city – city tour – resort The Gardens of Eden (b)

You start with a half day tour of Mexico City downtown area (Zocalo), including visits to the National Palace (with its famous Diego Rivera’s murals), Metropolitan Cathedral, and Templo Mayor (from the outside). You will admire some of the most beautiful colonial facades such as those of the Mining Palace, the Communications Palace, and the Mailing Palace; also the wonderful facade of the Palace of Fine Arts. This tour also includes the visit to the extraordinary National Museum of Anthropology, with its rich collections of pre-Hispanic art. We will have the opportunity of admiring some of its most interesting rooms. Return to hotel follows, with afternoon at leisure.

In the afternoon we will drive you far away from the city to almost unknown place, the Gardens of Eden, that are hidden from ordinary tourists. That is where you will be accommodated.

It is possible to modify the program according to your wishes and mentioned trips to remove (Day 2 and 3) or add other trips.

Day 4 to 14 – The Gardens of Eden

Free day for relaxing in the beautiful place of the Gardens of Eden, which are as created for resting, relaxing and gaining new energy in a magnificent environment.

You can enjoy beautiful nature, crystal-clear river, swimming and beautiful walks along with knowledge of local people and their way of life.

Possible activities - paradise for photographers (flowers, crystal-clear water, lizards, cactuses), tirolesa - a bit adrenaline lift over the valley (price 8 USD). Countless swimming possibilities - under waterfall, in the cave (thermal water reaches 38 degrees) in the river (25 degrees) in natural ponds (they are created by nature baths - 1 complex), in the natural pools created by people (2 complexes) , walks between the complexes and in the exotic nature in the vicinity of 2 km (prospects). Water in the small lakes is healing, it contains 30 minerals and is pleasantly warm. You can also take a bath in the swimming pool. It is also suitable for families with children. Both, small lakes and river are shallow. Absolute tranquility and what´s more it is out of civilization.

There is a playground for basketball and football in the areal (the ball to hire). At night the possibility of a fire / barbecue at the river ... under a million stars.

(In both complexes is a small shop where you can buy some food, alcohol/alcohol-free drinks, beer, toiletries).

You can diversify your stay by individual trips in a rented car which we would provide to you.

Day 14 – The Gardens of Eden – Mexico City - outbound flight

Transfer from the Gardens of Eden back to Mexico City and its international airport, from here you will take your flight home

-trip with Indian to this sacred place where you will see cascade pyramids, colonnade buildings, relief sculptures, including typical chacmools and also small museum.

Pachuca - $ 100 AUD/pp

-main town of area Hidalgo, which has a long history in mining green obsidian (museum of Mineralogy). A local Indian will take you for a walk through a beautiful national park Parque nacional el Chico.

Mexican bay, mystic el Tajin - $ 250 AUD/pp

-special trip with Indian for 4 nights with releasing turtle babies in the sea.
