Combine this trip with our package Quito - The Capital

Day 1 - Galapagos - Baltra (B, L, D)
Flight from Quito to Galapagos Islands. After landing a guide will take you to your boat. You may visit the Bachas Beach in the afternoon.

Day 2 - Floreana Island (B, L, D)
Post Office Bay - It keeps the legendary post barrel that whalers historically used to post their mail in. Why not try to send one letter or card and see whether it will be delivered or not? At Cormorant Point you land on a green olivine sand beach. Following a 100m long path you will soon reach a lagoon with flamingos.

Day 3 - Espaňola Island (B, L, D)
Today a cruise to Puenta Suarez and Española Island is waiting for you. You will explore a lot of endemic wildlife. Gardner Bay in the afternoon provides you with an excellent beach for swimming. Snorkelers will find lots of fish and sometimes turtles and sharks. The bay is also frequented by colonies of sea lions which like to swim with you. You can look forward to a lot of birds, like the endemic Hood-Mockingbird.

Day 4 - Santa Cruz Island (B, L, D)
The highlands of Santa Cruz have incredible zones of vegetations. You will visit The Charles Darwin Research Station which is formed by an information centre, a museum, a library and a tortoise breeding station. In the tortoise breeding you can encounter tortoises of different subspecies, which are being prepared for reintroduction to their natural habitats. You will have some free time for shopping and other activities too. In the afternoon you set out further inland to see giant turtles in wild.

Day 5 – Rabida Island (B, L, D)
You will sail to the small volcano island Rabida in the morning to visit a bay with both, fresh and salt water. You will admire local rich fauna and flora again. A large penguin colony can be found here. Get ready for taking beautiful photos.

Day 6 - Bartolomé Island (B, L, D)
This is probably the most photographed island in the Galapagos due to its 350 foot high summit and fabulous 360 view, which is reached after a 60m hike. The main attractions are a small colony of Galapagos penguins and sea lions, both found in the cove where you will make a wet landing. Behind the beach there can be found the red and white mangrove, salt bush, morning glory and the prickly pear cactuses. Other animals that may be seen here are the great blue heron and possibly sea turtles as they lay their eggs from January to March.

Day 7 - Santa Fé Island (B, L, D)
The boat will take you in the morning to the Santa Fé Island, where you get information about peculiar mangrove trees. There also are many iguanas! Santa Fé Island (Barrington) is a renowned place for penguins observation. You can have a swim here too, as usual.

Day 8 – North Seymour Island (B)
On the way to Baltra (Santra Cruz Island) you will stop at North Seymour Island. Seymour is famous for its colony of blue footed boobies, land iguanas, swallow tailed gulls, pelicans and red billed tropic birds. Then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Quito.
